Parks Canada – Ontario Waterways Unit, Trent-Severn Waterway

It’s a great opportunity for students to spend their summer out on the water and gain some experience in the environmental field.

Students will support the Ontario Waterways Environmental Services team by conducting field resource management programs on land and water. For example, monitoring and control of invasive species, shoreline assessments, vegetation assessments, environmental stewardship and fish spawning surveys. Work will also include consolidating and summarizing data, developing program guidance documents, information management, improving training materials, collecting information, and providing administrative support.
