The Algonquins of Ontario (AOO) have exciting employment prospects for our community members to join us in a professional capacity and become involved in the continued growth, long-term management and success of the Algonquin Nation and our communities.
The following position will have the unique and groundbreaking opportunity to support the Algonquin Negotiation Representative (ANRs) in their ongoing efforts to rebuild and revitalize the Algonquin Nation through the negotiation towards and implementation of a modern-day Treaty, while also working to enhance the Algonquin presence across the unceded AOO Settlement Area.
The Opportunities
The Senior Policy Strategist coordinates the official gathering of the ANRs and provides them with technical expertise as well. In addition, the role offers the opportunity to work alongside and support the leadership group of the AOO, as well as other guests, consultants, and the public depending on the support required of the AOO.
